Frequently asked questions

What WeighKind is, how our content is reviewed, what the resources include, and the boundaries we hold.

What is WeighKind?
WeighKind is a wellness publisher and digital-tools studio focused on the emotional and practical side of a weight-management journey. We publish educational articles and create digital resources for habits, reflection, organization, and progress beyond the scale.
Who is WeighKind for?
Adults navigating a weight-management journey in any form — working with a clinician on prescribed treatment, making changes without medication, or focusing on emotional eating, motivation, body image, and life after a period of change. We write for the whole audience rather than assuming anything about any individual reader.
Is WeighKind a medical or therapy service?
No. WeighKind is not a clinic, medical practice, pharmacy, prescriber, dietetics service, therapy service, or weight-loss program. Everything we publish is general education, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Personal decisions belong with your own clinician or licensed professional.
Does WeighKind sell or advise on GLP-1 medication?
No. We do not sell, supply, prescribe, source, or advise on any medication, and we do not provide dosing or side-effect guidance. Our GLP-1 content is about organizing the journey around clinician-led care — preparing for appointments, building routines, and tracking non-scale progress. Medication questions belong with your prescribing clinician or pharmacist.
Do you promise weight-loss results?
No. We make no guarantee about weight change or health outcomes, and we do not publish typical-results claims, outcome statistics, or before-and-after imagery. Our resources are educational and organizational tools, not an outcome.
How is your content reviewed?
Every article carries a named author, a review status, a last editorial review date, and clickable links to the sources it was written from. Health-sensitive pieces are labeled general education and not medically reviewed until an independent, suitably qualified reviewer has assessed them, at which point the reviewer is named on the page. We never list a reviewer or credential that does not exist. The full process is published in our editorial and medical review policy.
How do you choose article sources?
Article sources are selected from authoritative original publishers and peer-reviewed research. We read every source before we cite it, link directly to the publisher's page, and list a citation only because it informed our writing — never to imply that the publisher reviewed or endorsed WeighKind.
What do the digital resources include?
The WeighKind Journey System is our flagship resource: a 67-page, 12-week digital workbook with weekly reflection pages, flexible routine anchors, appointment-question sheets, and non-scale progress trackers. It is delivered as four PDF files — US Letter and A4, each fillable and print-ready.
Can I buy it today?
Yes. The Journey System is available now for $29 USD from the shop page. Checkout, customers, discounts, and digital delivery are all handled securely through Shopify, and your files are available immediately after purchase.
What information do you never collect?
Diagnoses, medical conditions, medication use, weight or body measurements, mood or mental-health status, and eating behaviors. There is no health quiz on this site, and we do not attach health information or inferred personal attributes to analytics events.
Can I share or resell WeighKind resources?
A purchase grants one person a personal, non-transferable license. Files may not be shared, resold, redistributed, or used commercially. Sharing links to our free articles is always welcome.
What is your refund policy for digital products?
Because digital files are delivered instantly, sales are final except where files are corrupt or unopenable, you were charged twice, the product materially differs from its description, or a statutory right applies in your jurisdiction. Email us within 14 days with your order number.
What should I do if I am struggling right now?
Please reach out to a professional. If food, weight, or body-image thoughts are affecting your daily life, a licensed mental-health professional or registered dietitian is the right support. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number, call or text 988 in the US, or call Samaritans on 116 123 in the UK and Ireland.
